“Kids Helping Kids”
MUSICTHON 2024
MRMTA has helped children access music programming regardless of income or needs through its annual “Kids Helping Kids” Musicthon fundraiser, with $239,482 donated to date. Our 35th annual Musicthon 2024 will showcase student performances at Kildonan Place Shopping Centre (1555 Regent Ave. W.) the weekend of February 10-11, 2024.
MRMTA is again partnering with United Way Winnipeg, supporting youth music programs at a variety of their donor-funded agency partners across Winnipeg, such as: Teen Stop Jeunesse, Rossbrook House, Maples Youth Activity Centre, Kildonan Youth Activity Center, Mood Disorders M.A.D. Camp (Music, Art and Drama), Graffiti Art Programming and West Broadway Youth Outreach. These free music programs offer youth opportunities to play a variety of instruments, sing, provide song writing workshops, create soundtracks and record music.
