We are hosting two in-person student events bracketing Canada Music Week this year. We encourage participation of all disciplines, levels and ensembles. Because space is limited, we ask students to participate in only one event or the other, and limit studio participation at each event to 3 entries.

 

CANADA MUSIC WEEK STUDENT RECITAL

admission $5/person or $20/family. (performers are free)

Registration deadline: November 10th, 2022

 

Performers are encouraged to introduce themselves and their piece, offering some background on the composer, style, or effect of their selection.

 

CANADA MUSIC WEEK INTERMEDIATE PIANO MASTERCLASS
Saturday November 26th - 7:00-8:30pm
St. Mark's Lutheran Church - 600 Cambridge Street
 
Clinician Julianne Warkentin gives a special opportunity to explore composition and Canadian music for young pianists Level 4-7 Conservatory. Ms Warkentin is an accomplished Canadian composer and engaging instructor. This is guaranteed to be a wonderful showcase of Canadian music and first taste of the masterclass experience for these students.
