Letter from the President August 2017
Short and Sweet, like our Manitoba summers, that’s my letter this August! In concise point form, here’s some information for everyone to start thinking ahead for the year. Enjoy this issue of Take Note! Read it cover to cover to get excited for the 2017-18 year of activities!

- Come to the AGM on September 24th! Cheap! $30 for lunch, AGM and concert by our National Piano Competition winner Paul Williamson. You don’t want to miss that! We will be honoring members of 20, 30, 40, and 50 years. Also, enjoy the article about Honorary Life Member Dorothy Lother, by her daughter Carla. Thanks Dorothy for your wonderful influence on the musical community of Manitoba!
- Saturday September 9th is the date of the Master class with Jon Kimura Parker. Read the details in this issue! Thanks to the Pre-Diploma group led by Michele Leclerc for organizing these annual master classes in along with Virtuosi.
- Welcome to Lee Houghton Stewart who will take on the Canada Music Week event. Details will be available soon.
Congrats to Tiffany Wilson our past president who has now officially taken on the role of President with CFMTA/FMCAP. All the best to you in this new job Tiffany, and thanks for continuing to be a sounding board for Manitoba’s provincial association as Past President.
